Damyst Refund & Exchange Policy
At Damyst, we pride ourselves on offering exquisite and authentic fragrances. Your satisfaction is important to us, but due to the personal nature and hygiene standards of our perfume products, we generally do not offer refunds or exchanges once an order has been delivered and opened.
This policy ensures the integrity and quality of every fragrance you receive from our online perfume store.
1. Our General No-Refund/No-Exchange Policy
As perfumes are classified as cosmetic and personal care items, we maintain a strict no-refund and no-exchange policy for products that have been opened, used, or tampered with. This is in accordance with industry best practices and for the safety and hygiene of all our valued customers.
Hygiene & Safety: Once a perfume bottle is opened, its purity and integrity can be compromised. We cannot resell such items.
Authenticity Guarantee: Our commitment is to provide authentic perfumes and a pristine experience with every fragrance purchase.
2. Exceptions to Our Policy (Damaged or Incorrect Items Only)
While we generally do not offer refunds, we understand that issues can sometimes arise during transit. We will gladly address the following rare exceptions:
a. Damaged Perfume Upon Arrival
If your perfume order arrives damaged during shipping (e.g., broken bottle, significant leakage), please follow these steps:
Immediate Notification: Contact our customer support team at contact@damyst.com or call us at +91 9168272835 within 24 hours of delivery.
Provide Proof: You must provide clear photographs or videos showing the damaged perfume bottle and its original packaging (including the outer shipping box if damaged).
Assessment & Resolution: Upon verification of the damage, we will offer one of the following solutions:
Replacement: We will send a replacement of the exact same perfume product at no additional cost.
Store Credit: If a replacement is unavailable, we may offer store credit of equivalent value, valid for future perfume purchases on our website.
Partial Refund: In specific, verified cases where neither a replacement nor full store credit is feasible, a partial refund might be considered at our discretion.
b. Incorrect Perfume Received
If you receive a perfume product that is different from what you ordered (e.g., wrong scent, wrong size), please do the following:
Contact Us: Notify us at contact@damyst.com or +91 9503558555 within 24 hours of delivery.
Provide Details: Share your order number and a clear description of the incorrect perfume received. Photos of the item received may also be requested.
Return Authorization: We will provide instructions for returning the incorrect item. The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original, sealed packaging.
Resolution: Once the incorrect item is received and verified, we will promptly dispatch the correct fragrance from your original order.
3. Conditions for Exceptions
For any claims under the "Damaged Perfume" or "Incorrect Perfume" exceptions, please note:
Timely Notification: Claims made after 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted.
Proof Required: Adequate photographic or video evidence is mandatory for damaged items.
Unopened & Unused: For incorrect items, the product must be unopened, unused, and in its original, sealed condition. We cannot accept returns of incorrect items that have been opened.
Original Packaging: All original packaging, including boxes and protective materials, must be retained and, if requested, returned with the product.
4. How to Initiate a Claim
To report a damaged or incorrect item, please email us directly at contact@damyst.com or call us at +91 9503558555. Please include your order number in the subject line of your email for faster processing.
5. Cancellations
We process perfume orders quickly to ensure fast delivery. Therefore, we can only accept order cancellation requests within [e.g., 2 hours or specify a time frame, or "a very limited time"] of placing your order, provided the order has not yet been processed for shipping. Once an order enters the shipping phase, it cannot be canceled.
